Passive Fire Protection, like Active, is specified in each building and structure based on a study which is approved with the license file from the Town Planning Department.
Passive, in contrast to Active Fire Protection, does not concern the means of fire detection and extinguishing used to detect and suppress fire, but the way a building is constructed. Ensures the necessary specifications of construction materials, the adequacy of escape routes, the fire resistance of structure parts and doors and the prevention of fire transmission from one place to another.
